Over the past five years, we have also donated over $263,000 to various community groups and charitable organizations. In total, HopeSouth has invested over $263,962 for the improvement and support of our outstanding community.
CEO’s Report
Thank you for helping us achieve a great deal of progress in 2019. We were proud to pay out a dividend to members in 2019 of $70,236, ending the year with a net income of $422,732. Our greatest achievements include the many ways in which we used our capital to provide hope and improve lives. We are pleased to announce that we welcomed 417 new members to the credit union in 2019 and helped members get a new vehicle with over $3 Million; providing safe and reliable transportation.
We are proud to be a local credit union with a staff and volunteer team comprised entirely of individuals from right here in Abbeville County. HopeSouth is committed to investing in the community we serve because it’s the community where we live.
The impact of HopeSouth extends beyond our membership. Over the past five years, we have been able to donate over $263,000 to community groups and charitable organizations for the improvement of our outstanding community.
To our volunteer team, thank you for leading with excellence. To our dedicated staff, thank you for faithfully serving our members and improving our community.
